WCIS system cutover postponed to July 1, 2004

The improved WCIS system cutover has been postponed to July 1, 2004 (from June 1, 2004). During the process of extensive testing, we discovered a problem that required corrective action. It was deemed important to make these corrections before switching to the improved system to avoid issues that might create problems for some trading partners. The corrections have been made and initial tests have been positive. For the next few weeks, we will continue to test the system and will keep you posted for new developments.

The upcoming May 25 meeting of the committee is very important. We will offer a WCIS status report at the advisory committee meeting. Additionally, we will discuss plans for the future development of the WCIS. The meeting will be held:

Tuesday, May 25, 2004
9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (lunch on your own)
Hiram Johnson State Building
