In response to Trading Partner feedback, the Division of Workers Compensation will modify its implementation of the processing rules for the revised WCIS as follows:
1. The new system will continue to allow multiple MTCs in a batch for a particular claim.
2. Future Payment/Adjustment Start and End Dates (DN 88 and DN 89) will be accepted. The edit for error message #37, "Must be <= MTC Date", has been removed for DNs 88 and 89.
These changes should not impact the proposed deployment date of January 15, 2004.
There has been some confusion about the amount reported under DN 86, Payment/Adjustment Paid to Date. This amount refers to the cumulative paid-to-date amount of the benefit over the life of the claim, including any and all previous calendar years. This applies to all MTCs.
