Delays in WCIS Processing

As our Trading Partners have noticed, we have recently had a problem in processing acknowledgements. Actually, there were two problems: First, we had a hardware problem that prevented us from emptying EDI mailboxes receiving data from Trading Partners. That problem has been fixed and your mailbox should be emptied soon. Second, we have a software bug that has interrupted our ability to send acknowledgements for your transactions. That bug is still under investigation, and we hope to resume sending acknowledgements soon. In the meantime, Trading Partners should continue to submit transactions on time. Trading partners will not be held responsible for late submission of transactions if that lateness is caused by our acknowledgement issue. We will keep you advised as we work on the acknowledgement system.

We have recently created an EDI unit within the IT Division at DIR. As a result of that creation we have shifted our trading partner assignments, effective December 1, to be as follows:
