Query for phase-in planning We previously informed our trading partners of WCIS systems problems that were causing significant delays in our data processing. The problems turned out to be more significant than we originally believed, and our processing delay stretched out to two months. At this point in time we are glad to report that we are once again processing data efficiently, and expect to clear out our work queue in the next 2-3 weeks. We have been informed that some of our Trading Partners have been holding off sending data on account of our backlog. We would like to orchestrate a smooth resumption of normal data flow. To help us devise a workable plan to avoid an overload to our system as trading partners resume their transmissions, we have designed the attached short questionnaire. We would like to receive a completed questionnaire from each organization that has either withheld data submissions during the last two months, or is preparing to make its first data submission soon. If you fall in one of the two categories, please fill in the attached questionnaire and send it to wcis@dir.ca.gov with the subject header reading "questionnaire." Only one per organization, please. <End of this WCIS
