NOTICE OF MODIFICATIONS TO TEXT OF PROPOSED REGULATIONS

Pursuant to the requirements of Government Code section 11346.8 (c) and section 44 of Title 1 of the California Code of Regulations, the Labor Commissioner of the State of California is providing notice of changes made to the proposed adoption of regulations to implement and interpret the provisions of AB 633 (Stats. 1999, Chapter 554) and other statutes (Division 2, Part 11, Chapters 1 and 2 of the Labor Code, commencing with section 2670). The proposed regulations were first noticed to the public on August 3, 2001 and were the subject of two regulatory hearings held on October 4 and 12, 2001 in San Francisco and in Los Angeles, California, respectively. A copy of the modified text is attached to this notice.

COMMENTS ON PROPOSED CHANGES

If you have comments regarding the proposed changes, please submit them in writing between March 29, 2002, and April 15, 2002. All written comments must be submitted to the contact person listed below. The written comment period closes at 5:00 p.m. on April 15, 2002 and the Commissioner will only consider comments received by that deadline. Please limit your comments to the modifications that have been made to the text of the regulation. All written comments received by April 15, 2002 that pertain to the indicated changes will be reviewed and responded to by the Labor Commissioner as part of the compilation of the rulemaking file.
