SAN FRANCISCO --Director John C. Duncan and the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) will host the 81st annual summer conference of the National Association of Governmental Labor Officials (NAGLO) at the Westin-St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco from July 20 - 22. The conference is being attended by the state labor secretaries and commissioners from most U.S. states, as well as several top federal labor officials including the heads of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and Federal OSHA. Topics on the agenda range from Labor/Management Relations in the 21st century to the challenges of high technology and its impact on government. Members of the press are invited to attend the open sessions.
