    1. This portion of the public meeting is open to any interested person to propose new or revised standards to the Board or to make any comment concerning occupational safety and health (Labor Code Section 142.2).

      This portion of the meeting is also open to any person who wishes to address the Board on any item on today's Business Meeting Agenda (Government Code Section 11125.7)

      Any individual or group planning to make a presentation during the Public Meeting is requested to contact Chris Witte, Executive Secretary, or Marley Hart, Executive Officer, at (916) 274-5721 in advance of the meeting so that any logistical concerns can be addressed.

        Petitioner requests that the Board amend Title 8, California Code of Regulations, Construction Safety Orders, Section 1630 to exclude parking garages from the requirements for construction personnel hoists for worker access during construction.
