PROPOSED RULEMAKING SCHEDULED FOR UPCOMING PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

Pursuant to Government Code Section 11346.4 and the provisions of Labor Code Sections 142.1, 142.2, and 142.3, the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board has set the time and place for a Public Hearing.  At the Public Hearing, the Board will consider public testimony on the proposed changes noticed below to occupational safety and health regulations in Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations.

After proceedings held in accordance with and pursuant to authority vested in Sections 142, 142.3 and 142.4 of the Labor Code to implement, interpret, or make specific, the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board, by a majority vote, adopted additions, revisions or deletions to the California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Chapter 4, as follows:

Title 8, Chapter 4, Subchapter 4, Construction Safety Orders, Article 24, Section 1671.2, Use of Safety Monitors in Controlled Access Zones.

   
 

Heard at the July 18, 2002, Public Hearing; adopted on August 15, 2002; filed with the Secretary of State on September 12, 2002; and will become effective on October 12, 2002.

Title 8, Chapter 4, Subchapter 1, Unfired Pressure Vessel Safety Orders, Sections 451 and 527, the Scope and Application of Article 7, Liquefied Natural Gas (Emergency Regulation).

   
 

Adopted on September 19, 2002; filed with the Secretary of State on September 25, 2002; became effective on September 25, 2002; and will expire on January 24, 2003.
