Notice of Wage Board Meeting
To Review Minimum Wage Order-2001

In accordance with Labor Code Sections 1173, 1178 and 1178.5, Minimum Wage Order
2001 and Title 8, California Code of Regulations section 11530, et seq., the
Industrial Welfare Commission (IWC) has called for a wage board to consider
the adequacy of the current minimum wage being paid to California workers and
future indexing of said minimum wage.
The purpose of this notice is to provide notification that the address for the meeting of the Minimum Wage Board in Sacramento on September 5, 2002 has been changed.
The new address for the Board meeting is 750 N Street, Conference Room A.

A public meeting of the wage board
will convene on September 5th 2002, in Sacramento at the State Personnel
Board Auditorium located at 801 Capital Mall, Room 150, commencing at 10:00
a.m. Pursuant to Section 11534 of the above referenced regulations: (a)
the public may attend and observe wage board proceedings, but cannot make oral
presentations; (b) any written testimony or other information that the public
wants the wage board to consider in its deliberations should be addressed to
the IWC, 770 L Street., Suite 1170, Sacramento, 95814.
