NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE
INDUSTRIAL WELFARE COMMISSION

In accordance with Labor Code Sections 1173, 1178 and 1178.5, the Industrial Welfare Commission ("IWC") will hold a public meeting on Friday November 22, 2002. This public meeting will be held in Sacramento at the State Capitol, Senate Room 3191 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

PUBLIC MEETING AGENDA

1. Consideration of Wage Board Report from the Wage Board appointed to review and make recommendations to the IWC regarding the minimum wage in California.

2. Staff report regarding petition requesting that the IWC amend IWC Wage Order #9 (Transportation Industry) to include public transit drivers under meal and rest period requirements that now apply to the private sector but exempt transit drivers in the public sector.

3. Any new business that may come before the IWC.
