NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
of the
INDUSTRIAL WELFARE COMMISSION

In accordance with Labor Code Sections 1173, 1178, 1178.5, 1181, and 1182, the Industrial Welfare Commission ("IWC") will be considering the adoption of amendments to Wage Order 14-2001 with regard to the wages, hours, and working conditions of sheep herders. The IWC will also consider the appointment of members to a wage board it has authorized to consider the wages, hours and working conditions of employees covered by Wage Order 5 who have direct responsibility for children under eighteen (18) years of age receiving twenty-four (24) hour care. A public meeting will therefore be held on April 24, 2001, in Sacramento, at the Secretary of State Auditorium, 1500 11th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. The hearing will commence at 10:00 a.m.

AGENDA

1. Approval of Minutes for the public meeting held March 2, 2001.

2. Consideration of individuals for appointment to the wage board established to review the wages, hours and working conditions of employees covered by Wage Order 5 who have direct responsibility for children under eighteen (18) years of age receiving twenty-four (24) hour care, and a possible charge to that wage board.

3. Consideration of proposed amendments to Wage Order 14-2001 regarding sheep herders. (See attachment.)

4. Any new business that may come before the IWC.
