New Workers' Compensation Information System (WCIS) regulations
As announced in the Division of Workers’ Compensation, (DWC) newsline, Workers’ Compensation Information System regulations approved by Office of Administrative Law, the new WCIS regulations will become effective on Nov. 15, 2011.
A copy of the regulations and the new EDI guides can be found at: http://www.dir.ca.gov/dwc/DWCPropRegs/WCIS_Regs/WCIS_Regulations.htm. A list of the major changes to the guides can be found in Appendix A of each guide.
WCIS advisory committee meeting
The DWC’s annual WCIS advisory committee meeting will be held on June 27, 2011 in Oakland, California. The DWC encourages participation by all interested stakeholders.
