This roster contains the names of individuals who hold current asbestos training certificates in one or more of the AHERA disciplines (worker, building inspector, contractor/supervisor, project designer, and management planner) or in a construction craft as defined in 8CCR 341.16. Search by entering a last name and the course expiration date which appears on the certificate you wish to validate.

The name(s) displayed are those of individuals who are currently accredited (trained). Individuals may be accredited in more than one discipline. A separate search by expiration date for each discipline is required. The hometown city of each trainee is also displayed. A name associated with a discipline will remain on the roster only so long as the corresponding expiration date has not passed.

Training is current for each name that appears on the roster. However, if no name is returned, it does not necessarily mean that the individual is not currently accredited. Trainers are allowed 15 days following the completion of each course to submit names to the division for inclusion on the roster. In addition, the division may not be up to date entering submitted names into the database. Therefore, it will be helpful to contact the Training Course Provider (a list of approved trainers is available online) or the division (Asbestos Consultant and Trainer Approval Unit) at 916 574-2993 or ATCU@dir.ca.gov to determine whether an unlisted individual is actually accredited but not yet posted.
