| WHY | Presenters will discuss requirements of becoming a Licensed Contractor, and the steps to take upon receiving a Contractors license. Registrants will learn important information to avoid costly assessments and penalties, including licensing regulations and employers’ rights and responsibilities under state and federal laws. The construction industry is one of the eight industries targeted by EEEC. In 2007 citations totaling over $340,000 were issued for wage and hour violations. |
