WHAT:Second annual California-Arizona Agricultural Employers Seminar

WHY:Each year more than 4,000 employees travel from Arizona to California with their employers to harvest crops and a number of farm labor contractors maintain licenses in California and Arizona. In an effort to bridge the differences in state laws and assist these employers in maintaining compliance, the California-Arizona Agricultural Employers Seminar was created. The seminar will provide information on changes in California Labor Law regarding:
  • workplace safety
  • transportation of workers
  • wage and hour issues
It will also outline the differences in Arizona and California laws on topics including:
  • child labor
  • workers' compensation
  • minimum wage
  • workplace safety
  • employee transportation
