Free Employee Workshop Scheduled in Indio
| WHAT | Free workshop for employees, especially those working in the car wash, restaurant and construction industries. Presenters will discuss workplace requirements and regulations such as minimum wage, overtime and safety issues. |

| WHO | Presented by the Economic & Employment Enforcement Coalition (EEEC), a collaboration of the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency's Department of Industrial Relations (Division of Occupational Safety and Health-Cal/OSHA; Division of Labor Standards Enforcement) and the Employment Development Department. |
| WHY | To educate workers about new workplace regulations including the new minimum wage, how to recognize when overtime payment is required, and what is a safe and healthy work environment. Staff will also be available to answer other work-related questions such as how to prevent heat illness. |
