NOTICE OF MODIFICATIONS TO TEXT OF PROPOSED REGULATIONS

TO: Interested Parties

RE: Modifications in Proposed Regulations Concerning Electrician Certification

Pursuant to the requirements of Government Code section 11346.8 (c), and section 44 of Title 1 of the California Code of Regulations, the State of California Division of Apprenticeship Standards is providing notice of changes made to proposed regulations which were the subject of regulatory hearings on August 2, 2001 in Los Angeles and August 14, 2001 in San Francisco.
The regulations are proposed pursuant to the rulemaking authority derived from Labor Code Sections 55, 59, 3099 and 3099.5 This package is being sent to parties who have requested notice of this rulemaking and to those who submitted comments concerning these regulations. These changes are in response to comments received regarding the proposed regulations.

If you have any comments regarding the proposed changes, the Division will accept your written comments between April 15, 2002 and April 30, 2002. Any interested person, or his or her authorized representative, may submit written comments relevant to the proposed modified regulatory action by mail or personal delivery to:

To be considered, written comments must be received by the Division no later than 5:00 p.m., April 30, 2002. All written comments received by April 30, 2002 which pertain to the indicated changes will be reviewed and responded to by the Division's staff as part of the compilation of the rulemaking file. Please limit your comments to the modifications in the text.
